Shirat Yam was a joyful girl who spread light and love throughout her life. Her special smile never left her face; she knew how to live each day as if it were her last, turning every small event into a celebration. Yam was ambitious, strong, independent, and had big dreams – she dreamed of becoming a fashion designer, and her stunning and colorful style was unmistakable. Yam was the most amazing and supportive friend. Our Yam was an observation soldier in Nahal Oz and fell on October 7th. Just as the Song of the Sea is associated with the crossing of the Red Sea, you crossed our hearts when you left.
