The best friend, sister, and daughter, and in her final moments, she proved she was also the best commander.
Captain Shir Eilat z”l, commander of the observation unit, fell heroically at the Nahal Oz outpost while caring for her beloved soldiers. Shir had the funniest humor, was the wittiest, and had the biggest heart.
Her caring and love always guided her. Those around her were fortunate to learn from her selflessness, ambition, maturity, and love. Shir loved the sea and nature; every weekend she was home, she visited Palmachim beach. The design we chose for the swimsuit reminds us of our Shir, her style, and the swimsuits she loved.
Shir was strong and never gave up on her dreams, even if they seemed unrealistic to others.
